It doesn’t have to be perfect
How do you write the perfect blogpost? The perfect subject, the most interesting idea, the most compelling story? How do you create the perfect anything? It’s impossible, of course. The only thing you can do, is just start at some point and finish at some point. So here I am again, just starting a text.
I thought writing every day would get easier. It’s not. It’s getting harder. What the hell am I going to write now? I have plenty of ideas, but how to fill a whole page about it? And where to find the time to do it? When is the perfect moment to write a daily blog? I haven’t found it yet.
Today, again, I am stuck for words. I thought I could take yesterday’s blogpost as my draft, just improve every sentence, and voila: I would have a new blogpost! It’s not working. I don’t know what to change about yesterday’s story. I liked it as it is. I feel the need to create a different story now, but that’s also not working. Because my message for myself is still the same today: don’t strive for perfection, just for finishing.
So I’m going to wrap up today’s blogpost. This is it. It’s nowhere near perfect. But I don’t care. I’ll write something better tomorrow.
